Refugees Initiative Möhlau
The result of the podium discussions on 3rd November
The "Initiative runder Tische - Flüchtlinge Lager Möhlau" which held a successful podium discussion about the living condition of the innocent refugees attributed to the local government of Wittenberg was quite appreciated by the public opinion.
Before the beginning of the event a photo exhibition about the housing conditions in Möhlau and its isolation consequences was shown, which contributed to show the truth and the reality by itself which would be undeniable.
To the opening events, one of the coordinators from the "Projekt GEGENPart Mobiles Beratungsteam gegen Rechtsextremismus in Anhalt" Mario Bialek introduced a shot film of 12 minutes which shows "Refugees Initiative Möhlau" the real victims that residing in Möhlau expressing and explaining the reality of the difficulties and sufferings that they confronted in Möhlau Lager including the consequences of that, to their lives and perspectives.
Then after a shot moment followed the introduction of the podium representatives by the moderator Tobias Thiel from "Evangelische Akademie Sachsen-Anhalt" the evangelist church academy Saxonia Anhalt and at the same time there was different press representatives taking notes of the events.
The question of the word "integration" was one of the discussion points by which the representatives of the local government were trying to escape the reality by trying to lay emphasis on Law whereby saying they only integrate those already accorded resident permits.
Now to that, the "Refugee Initiative Möhlau" ask an unanswered question "who has been accorded that resident permits in the local government of Wittenberg and how many for the past 3 years"?
The "Refugee Initiative Möhlau" makes it clearer that it is unacceptable that refugees living in the local government of Wittenberg should not be integrated to the society where they were attributed to live and they made it clearer that the federal office of immigration recognizes only few refugees. Some percentage of asylum demanded in the country whereby 98 percentages of asylum seekers were termed "Ausreisepflichtige" persons and does not mean that they should not be accorded resident permit, working permits, freedom of movement. This does not mean that they should be discriminated, isolated, destroy their perspective, deprived from earning money for their living. Abandoned without proper security, without considering their human dignity, without considering the dangers that they faced in the country they had lastly left, without considering the disintegration in the country by which these refugees fled from. To consider also that some of these refugees were stateless whereby they don't have a precise nationality of their own and their lives were not in security in the country of which they lastly resided, having no contact and family relation any more.
The Integrationsbeauftragte der Landesregierung Sachsen-Anhalt Susi Möbbeck supported that it is unacceptable not to integrate innocent refugees however that the matters was determined by different factors whereas the refugees have each a different case and that their case would have been good to be reanalyzed and checked properly.
RA. Dr. Christoph Kunz (chief executive of the refugee council Saxonia-Anhalt e.V.) elucidated. on the importance of integration in the society.
The refugees initiative made it concretely known about their sufferings in the local government of wittenberg whereby the majority of refugees were victims of the so called "Gutschein" voucher and the inability of refugees been unable to buy what they want and needed, been unable to find a shopping center where to make their shopping's, unable to have physical money to pay for the transport of going more than 7 to 10 kilometers to buy what they need which could amount up to 25 to 50 kilogrammes, Why?. Refugees must buy all what they need at the same time withe "Gutschein" -exactly 33 euro or 66 euro and some of the things that they could surfer to buy would expire before the one month obligation.
Refugee initiative gave references of other local government that had abbolished the "Gutschein" to refugees like Halle, Bernburg, Bitterfeld etc.
To that the local government representatives of the social department tries to emphasises with the use of "Mitwirkungspflicht" that means cooperation as a reason of giving voucher "Gutschein" to innocent refugees who were at the same time issolated in the Federal reserved forest zone. Interdicted not work and having no freedom of movement at the same time terrorised with deportations. Some where psychological sick because of the oppressions recieved.
The refugee initiative explained in detail more about their surferings and injustice of hindering refugees not to continue to exercises the universal right of every human being not allow to participate in the society to which he or she founds itself to live his life.
The refugee initiative equally emphasised that it is quit known that the competent authority were used to use "cooperation" as a means of an excuse of depriving the right of innocent refugees living in their local government.
Refugees had already cooperated by participating in all they were asked to do and however could not go contrary to falsify a states nationality or document and at the same time some of the refugees have no families contact and affiliation, and states protection of the country from which the refugees lastly resided where their life and security were in danger.
The question to ask is who interprets the law? because it is known in wittenberg to be highly dependant in negative interpretation of the law because of the unwillingness of giving freedom to innocent refugees. Other local governments interprets their own law in a positive sense while wittenberge interprets in a negative sense why?. The consequences of this practice were been paid by the innocent refugees and their lives and perspective were been destroyed and could lead to death if any mistake were made from the decision takers.
Working permission ("Arbeitserlaubnis") should be accorded to refugees who have been living for some years, explained refugees council Saxonia Anhalt and the refugee initiative möhlau wittenberge gave references of other local government according working permits to refugees living in their town like Halle, Bernburg etc.
The condition of having acess to medical treatement puts refugees in fear whereby some of the refugees must wait for some days before becoming "Krankenschein" in some certain case they were been given for only one days duration and the isolation makes it more difficult for refugees to ride bycycle in the cold temperature for a long distance.
The representative of the social department made it more clearer that the Krankenschein is valid for a period of 3 months, in case of urgent treatments would refer to the hospital.
"Refugee Initiative Möhlau wittenberg" made it clearer about the consequences of been abandoned in Lager heim möhlau which contributes to generate sickness caused by "Gutschein" because refugees could not choose what they want to eat rather were forced to what they eat and it was written in the "Gutschein".
The isolation contributes to generate a psychological sickness that affects the refugees perspective and future and create more expense to the States at the same time it is too expensive living in the isolated lager rather than in a normal houses also it is more expensive giving "Gutschein" to refugees instead of Money, emphasised the left wing politician of the local government wittenberg.
The "Refugee Initiative Möhlau" demand to close the Lager and that refugees should be free to live in Wittenberg and should be integrated.
The representative of the competent authority make it more clearer that they are going to look for a change.
